what do you recommend hotels Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo for a holiday?
My husband and I are driving on a vacation for my birthday to Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo in Guerrero, Mexico in late August. What are the best hotels at a reasonable price you recommend? If the all-inclusive hotels are a good idea? Who knows What is the weather during late August? I kno it will be around 30 degrees Celsius, but does it rain all day?
I'm not a big fan of All-Inclusive Hotels all they are is a cruise ship has run out, but other people swear by it. I like to be free to check the area to move freely around, if You want to experience new places, eat at different places and to drink without worrying that I have paid it back to the hotel. My wife and I always book a hotel for a day or two and check-out area and we have the opportunity to move a new, better or different location or just stay where we are. It does not rain the whole Day usually for a short time in the early morning hours, when the late afternoon early evening. The website will show you weather, rain everyday think not giving me south of Cancun and it shows encourage us every day and this week a little rain in the morning for less than 5 minutes and than at night for 10 or 15 minutes that's it. How do I get a cheap or free upgrade at the resort in Ixtapa?

As KJ said, unfortunately December is not the best time to try to get this fix, because most hotels are fully occupied. It always works in "low season". But an attempt maybe you can get it.
