dominican republic inclusive vacations

Where is the better place / beach, Punta Cana and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic?
My friend and I want to make a holiday break in the south in March this year. We want something very cheap, but with a beautiful beach. The Dominican Republic looks good, but I do not know. If You know the names of the nice all inclusive resorts on the beach?
Puerto Plata is an old tourist destination with dark sand, but it's still very beautiful and cheaper. On the other hand, Punta Cana is higher. It has all the bells and whistles with beautiful white sand beaches got, I prefer this goal but it is the more expensive of the two Options.

5 night all inclusive vacations

The choice of a vacation in the Caribbean for the 5-year anniversary?
My husband and I are planning a trip for our 5-year anniversary in Oct. '09. We think about 5-7 nights in an upscale all-inclusive resort, but we can not decide which infrastructure or the island. Obviously we can not everything, but some of the factors involved will be our decision … – Minimal children, adults, only better – plenty of entertainment at the resort – Alcoholic drinks – Many options for excursions and activities on the ground – something unique and not manufactured for honeymoon (ie not sandals) – Large beach with palapas, preferably no beach vendors help! There are so many options!
Rex Sandals Resorts or are on almost every island, but my favorites: St. Lucia, Antigua and Grenada. Sandals are usually only couples. You can check also want to cruise, I think, cruises provide the best value, and offer the greatest diversity in Area of the vessel and off operations. You can try to swim the offers of the different islands, and snorkeling at various beaches, and return to the ship for good food and entertainment (you pay only for alcohol and soft drinks). For cruises that very few children I suggest Royal Caribbean, Princess, Holland America have.
