SWF looking to vacation alone SCUBA tropical destination. Advice?

I am 31 and have never travel AA out of the country from me. I only speak a little Spanish and I am certified SCUBA diving. I am longing white sand beaches and some underwater time. I'm not looking for love, the thought of a certain singles holidaying worry. But I'm open to meet new people and make friends, I'd rather not spend all my time alone. Singles Cruise? Regular cruise (although You have to pay twice as much for the room when you are alone) All-Inclusive Resort? Suggestions please and thank you?

Where the Caribbean is the best place to go to the Eve to New Year's Eve?

I am looking for a place somewhere in the Caribbean to the eve of going to for new years. It could be an All Inclusive Resort. The Caribbeans one is the best island in the? I want some night life and nature. Would not mind, snorkeling or Diving.

Please Note: (sp?) Houndras is not .. in the Caribbean I recommend Barbados – the island is a paradise and has a lot to offer – in other words, a see crowd to do a lot of the nightlife is Grrreat! There are clubs in St. Lawrence Gap, and the two others, such as Harbour Lights and boat yard. Barbados offers snorkeling and diving, particularly when surfing. :) Http: / / www.barbados.org/ http://www.visitbarbados.org/ http://www.funbarbados.com/ http://www.totallybarbados.com/

Where should my girlfriend and I go for vacation in Aug-Sept? Cozumel, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco?

We want to dive, dance, read in the Mayan or Aztec temple, jet-skiing and the best all-inclusive resort to be.

Howdy Danny. I have three of the four destinations, were located at (sans Acapualco) and give my opinion of each. I'm from Michigan and my favorite holiday Anywhere is Cozumel and I will start with him. Cozumel is definitely the best snorkelling / Diving of the three (and I am sure that all four) spots. Cozumel is also not too inconvenient, is bad to the Mayan ruins of Tulum (not, but not the best) or you can Chichen Itza on the ferry to the mainland and a long bus ride, or spend much money and take a plane. Cozumel has a place where you rent jet-skis, Mr. Sancho's Beach can and there are plenty of bars / our Restaurant / Nightlife (both Americanized places like Senior Frogs, Hard Rock Cafe, etc and more authentic Mexican places). As for the most beautiful resort, which is hard to say there are many places Posh in all the places you are looking for and we stayed last time in the hotel Cozumel, which was nice (But not the coolest) and had its own dive center. I suggest going to Cozumel Mexico Resorts www.gocozumel or searching for more information and if you go there, You can search for some of my other answers or contact me for further suggestions. Cozumel is the smallest, quietest of the pages, and I felt safe Most walk anywhere, anytime. Cancun, on the other hand, is probably the most convenient location to the best of the Mayan site of Chichen Itza and get on site with the best Night life, with most modern, most Americanized the destinations he probably has the largest selection of first-class resort. On the other hand, fading diving to Cozumel. I'll tell you, I had a bad experience in Puerta Vallarta, and I am biased against it. Puerta Vallarta has more of a European / Mediterranean to atmosphere and is probably halfway between Cancun and Cozumel, as far as size and is very beautiful places we stayed at the Grand and Club Marival whichmay have the most luxurious resort, we haved stayed anywhere, and you may want to check, but has to dance a lot of bars / spots, etc, and my Opinion, the prettiest of the spots is I've been to Mexico. Being so far south (as Acapualco) and is on the Pacific coast, I do not think the city is located in near either no Maya or Aztec ruins away. My problem with Puerta Vallarta is not really with the city or people themselves, we had a very bad experience, as The Americans, with the large number of tourists, Canadian French (and if you French Canadian I apologize) stay at the resort at this time (February or March?), The just an open hostility to Americans, I'm still not sure why. The beaches are beautiful, but another issue we had French with the Canadians, they would get up early and "save" spots on the beach and / or the pool very early in the morning whether they will or not be used; it literally is only our fourth Days we have, and some other Americans, had had enough and easy to remove unused objects from these "saved" spots (the anti-American hostility began before this event). I'm not sure about diving in Puerto Vallarta but I think there are places to rent jet-skis, it is also a good place for parasailing, and depending on the time of the year. Whale watching. As I said, I have not been, but Acapualco I imagine it's pretty similar to Puerta Vallarta. Another suggestion may be even further south in Costa Rica. Although I only on the Pacific side, I hear both sides are nice and offer some very nice places and an experience different from Mexico. Costa Rica is nowhere near the Aztec or Maya civilizations, but is definitely the safest of all hurricanes or tropical Storm is so far to the south (especially in August or September) and provides various recreational opportunities. We stayed at the Blue Bay Inn on the Gulf of Papagayo @ 6 or 7 years old, but I am sure that the resort has changed the name, the resort was very nice, had to rent jet skis at the resort and supplied a very nice dinner show / Dance every evening. Hope this helped, and if you think I can no longer help me message.
