All Inclusive in Costa Rica for the family – Allegro Papagayo, Doubletree Puntarenas, Flamingo Bch?

Family of 5 – Mom/Dad/3 boys (11,9,7). Want you have a beach all inclusive resort in Costa Rica for a week in June next year. Any thoughts and / or recommendations about Allegro Papagayo, Doubletree Puntarenas, Flamingo Beach Hotel, Barcelo Langosta Beach Barcelo Tambor Beach? Never been in Costa Rica. Thank you. The bottom line is … I would simply and quick access to the beach, and I do not want to find out about cooking or making on where to eat. We would like to be pampered with a nice clean / room, but not pay an arm and a leg (not like the Four Seasons).

I have the Doubletree Resort in Puntarenas, and I was disappointed. Is the only thing that I thought it was Hilton the name. The food was disappointing. I expected a greater diversity, especially fruit, since Costa Rica has so much fruit available. The rooms were average, not 5 star at all, and the bathroom had no bathtub. The beach was very nice, with beautiful dark sand. I also visited the Barcelo Tambor Beach Resort, and that the Place to go. It is a bit more expensive than the Doubletree, but it was definitely worth it. The bathrooms are spacious and have a bath. The rooms are large and the beds more what you would expect from a 5-start site. And the food was heavenly! They had nothing and everything, what you can wish for. It was all for your Defined benefit, with plenty of fruits and tropical drinks. I do not know whether this also applies to non-residents, but I cried before I click the Doubletree. It was completely booked. Anyway, They said that if you have more than one month in advance, 10% discount. If we consider a family of 5, that's quite a savings if it applies to foreign Tourists. I have not tried the other resorts, you have mentioned, but I'm sure you will not go wrong if you choose Barcelo, either or Langosta Tambor Beach. By the way, I've heard that is on an even more beautiful than the Langosta Beach in Tambor. I could go there for my wedding, and check it out.
