The best place for a (cheap!) Romantic tropical getaway?

Ok, so basically we are looking for a nice holiday for the two. I have watched the all-inclusive trips to Mexico, Jamaica, etc, and they all look about the same. I'm not that at all over, especially because of the all-inclusive. But I think we want to go somewhere in remote as a hut in a forest or something exotic like rain, Either way, know that we need to keep costs low, less than $ 3,000 …. any suggestions?
