My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Riu Palace in Riviera Maya … It was absolutely perfect! It's all-inclusive, and residence at the Riu Palace, you can switch to other Riu Resorts which are related, go eat, drink / as well. It is quiet and off the beaten path, but only minutes from Playa Del Carmen. They offer couples massages on the torch Beach. The food is wonderful! They also offer a shuttle service to the Hotel Riu in the zone, if you want to go to the clubs there. There is a nightclub as well locally in the Riu! We book our Travel by Apple Vacations and were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived to when we leave on the plane, I can not wait to go back!
