Travel need everyone's opinion, please respond!?

My family (my Mom and Dad, my 8-year-old brother and me, 13) are planning a trip to South America and Central America. We really want to go to Cuba and Argentina, but we like to stay in one or two other countries. We love adventure (but how to stay safe!) and would prefer not all-inclusive hotels and resorts. Suggestions? to prevent countries or territories? Other ideas? Thank you!

Cuba is completely secure. That sounds like an awesome family trip. Your family will be sure to go wherever you decide. Travelling as a group and mind where you go in the night and you'll have no problems.
