Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for the honeymoon?

My fiance and I are looking for a resort All-Inclusive preferrebly only for adults, and I heard that Punta Cana was a great place ecspecially for the money (we prefer to spend about 3k on airfare and about 5-7 nights, if possible) Has anyone vacationed or had their honeymoon? Or, if all other places, including reasonable for prices and everything? Thank you

My husband and I on our honeymoon Domican Republic at the Wyndham in La Romana. We spent about what you search for 14 nights (two years ago, in June to spend). It was great – all inclusive is definitely the way to go! The resort has a cute little bungalows (duplex) on the beach near the water, air conditioning and have front gardens. We spent the night in one of them. If your All Inclusive Resort offers you a chance to the airport, you pay your taxi to the hotel – do it! Otherwise, you can get ripped, we like it! $ 60 U.S. per trip for 15 miles.
